Lots to do at BBS' Marblehead Studio Open House

Last night we had our Back-to-School Open House at the Marblehead Studio. It was a great event to help transition from the summer to fall season. We saw approximately 300 guests come in and they all took part in the activities happening around the studio. Jennifer Scott, Marblehead Children’s faculty, taught a twenty minute ballet class to a group of 30 children. It was so nice to see all the new and returning students dressed up in their tutus dancing together! Our Elementary 3 girls did an amazing job showcasing our Modern and Character programs with teachers Amberlee Timm and Alicia Macdonald.

Students were also purchasing their dress code items in the studio, buying tickets to The Nutcracker, and, best of all, getting autographs from Boston Ballet principal dancers Yury Yanowsky and Kathleen Breen Combes! We hope that this event helps our students prepare for the start of classes next week and are so happy that so many were able to participate. We will be having Open Houses in our Newton Studio on Wednesday, September 8 and in our Boston Studio on Saturday, September 11 and we are looking forward to welcoming back our Newton and Boston families as well!

Marblehead Studio Manager
